GAME THREAD: Steelers vs. Patriots 10-23-16
Can the Steelers win without Ben?
How do the pats always get so lucky against us?

I don't remember ever going into a game, especially at home, where I have almost no faith in a Steelers W. With one of the worst back-up QBs in The NFL combined with a piss-ass defense, this could get real ugly. I'm thinking like 42-17 New England.

Ravens choked against the Jest. That's the only win the Steelers will get today, but I'll take it.

Yeah I watched most of that one hoping they would lose, but also thinking how the Steelers will get beat there in two weeks no matter how bad the poes are this year.

I am thinking Berry will be getting a lot of reps in today.

Nice throw by Jones to a well covered Brown in The EZ for The NE INT.
Seriously, counting pre-season, how many times has he been picked off in The EZ?!?

What in the hell does Tomlin see that I didn't on that challenge?

Announcers: You have to be ready for the quick snap from NE when you play them.
And there you have it; coach outsmarted again. Result: NE TD.

It's the same question I ask myself every time I see Landry Jones take a snap at QB.

That has to be the most impressive display that I have seen from Jones. Great long pass to AB and then using AB to grab all the secondary attention and finds Heyward-Bey in the EZ and not a pick. Can they keep it up?

OMG, beating themselves now. Aside from the holding and missed FG I would have said you were crazy that they could be keeping up with the pats.

Well Jones almost screwed it up. Who would believe a 14-10 game at the half?

Jones has looked not only competent, but quite good, since after that awful INT in The EZ. Nearly 200 yds and a TD in the 1st half. What???
The D was lucky 2 Pats dropped wide open throws. Going to need them to do that a lot in the 2nd half, as they aren't really creating any pressure for Brady.

Just enough running by Blount and just a matter of time before Gronk gets involved. Missed PAT by the pats. They have been sloppy today, dropped passes, etc. Can Steelers hold on and put up some more TD's?

What an absolute dumb ass call on that FG. Have to go for it there!
Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers vs. Patriots 10-23-16
For chap sakes - this kid has barely made his kicks tonight and you try a 54 yarder at that point on the field and that point in time? Leaving you 8 points behind even if you do make it? Momlin you ass - when you go back to the lab to dissect your miserable loss this time check for your balls
This defense is a wretched pile of chunder - Golden blowsd

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers vs. Patriots 10-23-16
It was a disorganized grabasstic shit show at the end there. Why did they keep throwing Brown out to receive punts with a hamstring or hip issue??? New England had figured out whatever the Steelers were doing in the 4th quarter... It didn't seem that anything was open for Jones. And what a final forty seconds? Jones was standing there with his dick in his hand acting like it was the first and not fourth quarter... running the clock down and then a clusterfuk pass attempt. If Brown has anything seriously wrong with him.. another point this seaons is over.
Fuking defense can't stop the run now... for sure they can't stop a passing attack. And that pass rush sucks dick. And WTF was Timmons doing covering Edelman all night?
Guess you can say that New England didn't really whip their asses tonight... It could have and has been worse in the past. It was a professional win by New England... did what they needed to do and not much else. Took away all but shit dump offs to mostly Bell by the second half and then just controlled the clock.
Still don't think Landry Jones is your QB of the future though.. He is probably your Cliff Stoudt of the future and some of you old timers might get that one.

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers vs. Patriots 10-23-16
Yet another in an endless series of clock management errors and decisions for Mr. "I don't live in my fears" Well you did tonight, dumb-ass. Going for a 54 yard FG instead of trying a 4th and short, wasted early time-outs, no urgency by the end of the game, etc. And Butler needs to be gone as well. 2nd straight game in which a RB had amassed 100 or more yards. Maybe if The Rooney's aren't too busy endorsing Hitlary, they might actually do something. Then again they want 4 more years of Obama, so that just shows you were their minds, or lack thereof, are.
L. Jones played better than anyone had a right to honestly expect, only cause expectations were lower than rat shit coming in. Also, The Division is a joke this season. That's all I got.
