I can't believe this Nate Washington story

Postby thesteelhammer » Thu May 07, 2009 6:48 pm

Jim Wyatt and Gary Estwick, of The Tennessean, report Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington ran into the bottom of a video lift after catching a pass along the sideline Wednesday, May 6. Luckily, the crane had padding on the bottom and he wasn't injured. "I am all right," Washington said. "No nicks or bruises or anything."

I can see Nate-Nate running into a crane, but catching the pass? I'm calling Bullshit on that part. :D

NateNate "Crisco" Washington couldn't catch VD in a whore house, let along a pass along the sideline.

Is this the same Nate who caught a vital pass on our game winning SB drive?

Of all Nate's drops over the years, not one comes anywhere near close Sweed's almighty howler,
don't remeber Nate ever trying to BS his way out of a drop, we may have replaced Nate with worse Nate, just think on that!!

don't disagree...no one is apologizing for Sweed.

As far as NateNate, hell, even a blind pig finds an ear of corn from time to time. HE SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT THE PASS IN THE SUPER BOWL. That's what he was getting paid to do.

Look at it this way -- going to start Crisco on your fantsay team this year? Yep. That's what I thought!

Correct me if im wrong but I don't think Sweed and Crisco play the same position from the X Y and Z. Crisco's main job (the Z) was to take the top off the coverage (stretch the coverage) and he has been replaced by Wallace and that 4.3 speed. Honestly, I have more confidence in Sweed and Wallace than I do Crisco. If you remember Cowher put Crisco on the Kickoff team for a few games to toughen him up. He was scared to get hit. Crisco Washington got overpaid by the Titans.
