Davenport returning kickoffs

Postby Vandermint » Sun Oct 26, 2008 10:18 pm

What are the advantages? The only thing I can think of is he doesn't fumble very often.

Other than that, he's slow, doesn't make anybody miss, and makes it impossible to have a game-changing homerun play on kickoff returns. I just don't get it.

look at what our returners have done since randle el left, holding on to the ball and consistently starting the drive from the 25-30 yard line doesn't sound so bad now does it?

I agree. I don't miss closing my eyes and praying that the returner just holds onto the ball...
