NYG away record, including post season...
...was an incredible 15-0 run, including beating the undefeated Pats in the Super Bowl.
FIFTEEN and zero.

Other than showing up in CLE asleep and unmotivated, that is one hell of a run.
The Giants are favored tho, and I love the home town underdog. Perhaps Pgh can get the edge by playing the "no one respects us" card. With NY being favored, they can't quite pull that off.
I like being the underdog. But this _IS_ the Super Bowl Champion. A team that did amazing things last season. Winning on the road all play offs (reminds me of 2005 Steelers) beating Bucs, Dallas and Packers, all on the road, and then beating an undefeated Pats team...wow. That's quite an amazing run.

That stinks. NY will come in with their "we get no respect" tude and that's bad news. The source I looked at earlier this week had NY-3. Now, it's Pgh by 3. I doubt there was a 6-point swing; must of just had it wrong.
You don't want to play the Giants when they feel that they are dissed.

I sure as hell hope so as I'm forgoing my normal tv watching and meeting my father who is a huge Giants fan at bar which there will probably be 4 or 5 Giants fans for every Steelers fan

Actually, the Steelers are favored by 2 1/2 or 3 points.
To say that we're favored by 2.5 to 3, means it is a toss up. The home team usually is given a 3 point pad. Actually, NY market teams usually swing it 2 more points, so the line is pretty good.

...as if you think they DO want to play the Steelers...
Frankly, let them come in with whatever 'tude they want, WE'RE GOING TO SPANK THEIR PANSY ASSES!
They've not seen a D like ours in any of those away games, and they're going home with a broken streak among other "broken" things, wishing they hadn't!!
Go find some other corner to cower in, you Chicken-little pinko pussy-fag...
THIS IS STEELER COUNTRY!!!!
Wha make you tink I won cutchu, mang?!?

I have looked all over the net for an opening line where the Steelers were home underdogs vs. the Giants and have come up empty...Why you ask>? Because it never existed. I think you misread the line.

Possibly. And? You want to get a star stuck on your forehead?

What difference does it make what the point spread is, or who is "favored?" Unless you're placing a bet on the game, the point spread has no direct effect on your life. It sure doesn't have a direct effect on the game.

No entirely true. The players know the spread. The players know it reflects on how the betting public feels about a match up. In other words, if you are a 10 point favorite, it may be hard to sell yourself that "no one respects you." I believe this is what caught the Pats vs. Giants last year: The Pats always want to plug the "we get no respect" but coming in a 12 point favorite with the media discussing topics such as "Are the Pats the best team ever?" they could hardly sell themselves on the "no respect" card. But the Giants could, and used it.

The Pats were dubbed a DYNASTY DUMDUM. The had MUCH Respect fromt he media. Show me ONE game last season where the pats were not the favorite. WHERE DID THIS GUY COME FROM???

Didn't Cleveland just beat them in the pound?

ESPN's Madden simulation has the Gynts winning this one.
Then again, they had Santonio playing in the game, so take that for what you will.
