I think the hype over them as a Superbowl contender was overblown just as the hype of their demise is overblown. ESPN must've spend a 1/3 of their football segments on Dallas Sunday night. Think of them as the barely-over .500 team that they are and move on.

Are the Cowboys 'that' talented? I have read many media sources stating that fact (Novacek here "Their overwhelming talent had offset a lot of those issues this season -- and still can -- but this is a crucial game. "), but as of right now, are they particularly talented?

QB Johnson is over the hill, too methodical, defenses have passed him bye. Running is one dementional and they are 6/6 in past 12 games, going back to last year.

They needed to draft Lefkowitz sp? or someone younger last Winter. Plus Johnson sat on the bench all season until Romo's injury, zero preparation.

Jerry Jones has lost what ever he had and continues to hire incapable people. Jimmy Johnson was the last coach and Jerry blew him away. This Sunday they play a real opponent and Wade is taking over the defense. If they drop behind 14 zip, the stadium will erupt.

New stadium will have a ton of empty seats. Who ever thought we'd miss Bill Parcells. Team never wins in December and could easily finish under .500.
