Re: stillers.com official game thread -Steelers vs. Bengals
Offense has gotten away from throwing to the TE's (which opened up the deeper stuff for the WRS)
Now have just been trying to force it to Ward (which I'd love cause he's on my fantasy team).
That won't work with out making them fear the short stuff to the TEs.

This is where the mainstream media is failing us, because we really need to know how the Steelers O works: who calls the plays, who calls the blocking schemes, can Ben audible, does he audible, etc.
Are hot routes built into every play, or does Ben have to designate? We know big things: Arians is rigid and doctrinaire, the OL has mad problems, the running game is spotty, Ben holds onto the football too long, he's always looking for the home run. But it's rarely clear when things go wrong exactly what the problem was.

Radio broadcast just said there is a bengals fan sign in the stadium that reads..."Fun til 1, Bored til 4" hahaha

The O-Line is solid. When Ben gets the ball out its not an issue. When he tries to dance back there and buy time its an issue. These are some questions I'd like to know as well. It was my understanding that Arians gave Ben total control to do all the audibling, hot routing but, yes, Id like to know those SPECIFICS too.
COME ON IKE PICK THAT OFF!!

Maybe they'll organize another walkout at halftime.

There ya go. Hit Holmes! Again, the line is not as bad as advertised. Starks is doing surprisingly good.

Starks is generally solid.
But don't get too excited, we are playing the bengals.

The OL is more solid since the Steelers started shedding starters. Kendall Snickers is a bust. Stapleton has played solidly. Kemo still makes too many mental errors. Hartwig is solid. Smith is old and injury prone; they should have moved him to RT in order to take some pressure off his bad back. Colon is a good player but he's too short to play tackle.

All the more reason why this 10-0 score is bullshit.
Re: stillers.com official game thread -Steelers vs. Bengals
I disagree. The Line started coming around when our Qb started making quick reads and not holding on to the ball too long. Thats what brees, brady, manning etc all do. Thats the key. Marino perfected it.
