Go Pens!
let's eek out one more win tonight and take it to a game 7.
Re: Go Pens!
A win tonight puts the Wings completely on their heels! I can't wait to see how the game kicks off.
Re: Go Pens!
The Pens need to step up... now is the time for Evgeni Fatakin to step out of his shell and score to lift his team.
Re: Go Pens!
Well, Gino finally scored but that wasn't enough. So the Pens go on the PP with 1:47 left but it will be too little too late? Maybe not... Hossa redirects a slapper from the point... from who? Gonch, who else. With minutes left, the Pens still gave us hope. The team showed tremendous heart and ALMOST scored with seconds left.
Too bad close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.
You have to love this team and their heart. They're young, they're talented and they lost to a strong team. Everyone should appreciate this group and their effort this year!

Re: Go Pens!
Wow, what an exciting ending.
Re: Go Pens!
I actually thought they might score again right at the end there. Nice effort. Looking forward to next season.
Marines should come with warning labels.
Re: Go Pens!
I work for a local Pittsburgh hospital and I heard through the grapevine that Malkin had a separated shoulder. Read, recently, in the PG that he was injured... so maybe there was something to that rumor. Makes sense... he wasn't able to hold up to the physical play of Detroit. He tried to finesse way too often and it really hurt the Pens chances.now is the time for Evgeni Fatakin to step out of his shell and score to lift his team
None of those players quit and I tip my hat to them. Great year... too bad they came up short.
