Steelers release TE Matt Spaeth
In news that should make Still Mill giddy, The Steelers have announced today that they released Tight End Matt Spaeth under the "failed physical" banner.
Honestly, I was wondering why this took so long. All I get from some Steelers fans were "He's a good blocker" to justify his continued presence on the active roster, but I never saw anything that remotely resembled "good" in his game.
With Green and James the 1-2 at TE, this opens up the door for FB/TE David Johnston to be the 3rd guy.
