Once again Godell falls flat on his face. The judge didn't rule that Brady didn't cheat but instead he ruled against the NFL's system of arbitrary punishment.

Guys get fined and suspended for legal hits, Ben gets 4 games not for breaking the law but for generating bad press, Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson have 2 week suspensions changed to being a season long due to the public outcry. What pisses me off is that we didn't have better lawyers hired to defend our players like the ones Kraft and the cheatriots have on retainer.

Screw the Pats but fuck Godell.

From the moment I heard that the NFL was unwilling to compromise in the decision, I was convinced that this outcome was planned from the start. Goodell gets to act like he stood firm against a team that has gotten away with cheating in the past. The NFL definitely wants their golden boy Brady on the field during the opener again the Steelers. Goodell create a situation where he knows his decision is going to be overturned. I don't think he comes out looking great, but he is not seen as some Patriot's lackey. I know it seems nuts, but it's just my conspiracy theory.
