Exactly on point with this article. Versatile players like Shazier who can cover a receiver, back, or TE is extremely valuable in today's pass-happy NFL. Good article. Keep 'em coming.
On another note, I saw some growth by this defense yesterday. Particularly the play of Sharko.

I actually remember you making that point last year, Palmer. Good call. It looks like it's happening. I, too, saw some signs of life in our defense yesterday, as I pointed out in another post.

I find myself wondering how Tuitt's injury (depending on how serious it is and how long he may be out) could affect this new defensive scheme. It seems we need strong DE's if we are going to make this transition.

I agree isfry. I'm also wondering if they should trade a WR for a DB or DE? It seems we have an embarrassment of riches at WR and teams are going to get more desperate as these WR injuries keep piling up.

If they were going to make a switch to 4-3... why do they keep drafting linebackers and not defensive ends and tackles?
