SoCal, For once I am optimistic. This is the first draft I have liked in years. Playmaking defenders are something to be optimistic about. The only weakness I see is that they still need a real left tackle. Beachum is a hard working guy but he just doesn't have the physicality to stop stud rushers. But the running game, receiving corps and Big Ben can win a Super Bowl. Hopefully the defense will get turnovers and give them points and the offense short fields to work with.

Do you realize we lost six games last year, including the WC Bell-less debacle, and 5 of those six the opposing team put up 26 or more points on us? The only exception was the 20 point win by the JEST. If this D can improve those numbers by an average of just a field goal a game, we have a good year ahead of us, boys. My guess is we don't lose a single game this year where we keep the opponent under 21 points. Jus sayin...

pre season game 3 will give us our best indication - at this point - the Steelers are hands down fav to give up most passing yards in the NFL. Anyone know how Golsen is doing?
