I mean i realize brady is a 15 year vet, but when you get that value from a 6th round pick.....the 2nd round pick that follows him better be the best QB ever.

steelers have become a faster team this weekend....if these rookies can get on the field.

I think Shazier will see the field right away, especially in sub packages. There's an ILB spot waiting for him, unlike Worilds who sat behind fatass Lamar and JH. Plus, they obviously played him on the wrong side up until this past season!

Re: Live Draft Talk
if that is going to happen, he may have to have some freedom to freelance.
I doubt he'll have the system down well enough to play a disciplined role.
While he does have blazing speed, if he's thinking out there about what his responsibilities are, he'll be slow.
He had a great deal of ability to freelance at Ohio State. Obviously that had to do with his athletic ability, but I also sometimes wondered if it was a reflection of his ability to be disciplined.
Like I said, I like the player. Hope he's a fit.

Re: Live Draft Talk
once more pick for the steelers.
I'm pretty happy with day 3 of this draft.
(and day 1 & 2 are players I like...and the idea of them as steelers is growing on me as I think about how they could be used in our system)
Much will depend on how these players develop

Re: Live Draft Talk
wouldn't mind having them keep looking at Tennessee guys with this last pick....
Richardson, Antonio OT 6'6" 336 is still available
or maybe one of the florida DBs or one of the TE's I was talking about earlier.
who you guys thinking?
