Steelers Sign RB LeGarrette Blount
The Steelers inked F.A. RB LaGarrette Blount to a 2 year deal at just under 4 million. Blount will obviously be Bell's back-up and short yardage 3rd down guy. Source: KDKA Sports.
I like this move. It's better than if they'd have signed M.J.D. instead, as a matter of fact. More than all of the above, we now have a capable back-up should Bell get dinged up again. 4.7 career yards per carry. Nice.

Re: Steelers Sign RB LeGarrette Blount
I Love the move.
It is a very normal, cheap, RB sign.
That is why I strongly believe that a first, second or early thrid round is a wasted pick on a RB. Bell is good. And I'm sure he will keep it this way. But we can get a lot more value with a second round pick.

Re: Steelers Sign RB LeGarrette Blount
Pats insider I know says the dude is a bad actor, why they booted him, why he went for short change.
Re: Steelers Sign RB LeGarrette Blount
I love this signing. As I indicated on the MJD thread, this is a way better change of pace. Fits our needs much more, and our budget.
p.s. "bad actor" in Patsie's land could also just mean "didn't view Belicheat with ample awe and ass-kissing." We'll see.
