Cortez Allen is a FAR better corner than Ike.... He's a lot more fundamentally sound.....
(Even when Ike makes a positive play, it's often being fortunate not getting flagged for a borderline foul. If Campbell throws a better pass in the EZ on 4th down, that's a PI penalty.)

If the Bungles and Jest hold on to win, and the Chiefs dog this final game in SD, the Chiefs coach deserves the "Steve Bartman" treatment.

Things going our way in these early games, but KC has already said they will sit their starters against the Chargers, so this all might be for nothing.

Andy Dalton doing EVERYTHING he can to keep the ratbirds alive.

Yeah, but the Jets first string is about as good as KC's third string and they beat Miami at home today, so ya never know!

This is why I'm opposed to the 18 game season..... There will be a lot more "dog" games under this plan.... And a lot more teams/fans angry at coaches for resting the starters whenever the teams/fans need the opp team to lose.thesteelhammer wrote:Things going our way in these early games, but KC has already said they will sit their starters against the Chargers, so this all might be for nothing.
If the Chiefs do dog this game, it would be ironic if the team gets starters hurt in the post-season due to a loss of "game shape". I also hope the Chiefs play a game at Heinz next season, so the fans can let the coach have it.

Won't be able to watch the Chefs/Bolts game.......
Re: GAME THREAD: steelers vs browns 12-29-13
Looks like we got everything we needed in the morning games. Let's hope "sitting some starters" doesnt mean phoning it in by KC this afternoon.

I do not know who played worse
Dalton 4 picks
Flacco 3 picks
Tannehill 3 picks
Those guys ALL collapsed under pressure.
Anyway.. Miami and Balt lost.... So it is either us or San Diego
P.s. Did you see the 10 yard punt from the cicny back up punter ? I thought it was karma punishing us for the Garvin hit
Re: GAME THREAD: steelers vs browns 12-29-13
Whatever happens in san diego I am so happy that the rats and Mr. 120 showed their true colors down the stretch going 1-2 and getting knocked out. At least Fluke-O can afford a lot of golf with his new contract...

Flacco is great when he gets time to throw... But a lot of QBs are great under such circumstances..... But he's typical when the heat is on....... He folds like a cheap suit.isfry wrote:Whatever happens in san diego I am so happy that the rats and Mr. 120 showed their true colors down the stretch going 1-2 and getting knocked out.
