Can some one wake up grandpa dick and tell him Ike can't handle Calvin Johnson. Some safety help might be nice.
This looks like the Denver playoff game all over again.

Didn't watch this game...... Looking at ESPN, it looks like the Stillers were saved by a fumble by the Sloni near the Stillers goal line, on a drive which would have put the Stillers away.......

The Stillers had two huge slices of bread..... The Sloni had all the meat in the middle.............

I DID watch this game. The Steelers actually made halftime adjustments, scored seventeen unanswered points in the second half, shut out the opponent, forced three turnovers, and kept Megatron catchless for the second half. The fumble you saw on a replay was the holder on a fake field goal. Stupid call gets stupid result.

While I'm at it, did anyone else think #66 for the Lions got away with holds up the middle ALL DAY?
I know Mill will (somewhat deservedly) rail on the almighty LeBeau for allowing 27 points in the second quarter and over three hundred yards in the first half, but I have to say that it sure looked like some adjustments were made in the second half on both sides of the ball. One good example was the coverage on the play that resulted in Allen's pick near the end of the game. That deep middle route burned us for days in the 2Q. The underneath coverage by Allen created a much needed pick where a conversion could have been brutal.
Ben's pump fake that made both defenders jump the short route on the critical third down on the last drive was genius. Both guys jumped, Cotch split 'em and streaked and was WIDE OPEN. Made me smile.
I heard Woodley's number get called about as much as usual during this game.

Second place. Back by 2 in the loss column. Six games left, four in the division, one home game against the Bungles. Hmm...
