L.C. Greenwood passed on today of natural causes. He was sixty seven years old. Thanks for stopping by L.C. You will not be soon forgotten.

I loved L.C.. The man had class and was one of the main reasons we got where we did. I agree that Greenwood not being in the H.O.F. is sumptin' that should not have happened. When he DOES get in, L.C. will be watching from up in the Big Stadium / H.O.F. in the sky.

I have my football autographed when they had that 25th anniversary bash at the David Lawrence Convention Center. I saw L.C. walking across the floor to go to his station and I screamed out at the top of my lungs: "L.C. GREENWOOD - THE SACK LEADER!!!!!!" Boy that must've made his day, as Joe Greene usually got most of the credit for the Q.B. pressure brought on by that Steel Curtain Defense... That's why he wore those golden yellow shoes...

Got my ball autographed though... (and didn't have to pay big bucks to do it either! :wow:

)
