NFL Prospect sent back to the Army

This seems REALLY stupid to me. The recruitment value of this guy playing in the NFL and recruiting in the off-season would be monstrous; especially after Tillman's death. Plus, you can pretty much guarantee that anyone with talent that even approaches NFL caliber will never touch ROTC or the Academy.

What I don't like is all the Army Brass carrying on all around draft time about how valuable of a recruitment tool and how proud they were of him and all that then pulling the rug right out from underneath him. It was a huge publicity stunt on their end. Now I could see if he went to camp and got cut or put on the practice squad or something but they didn't even give the guy a chance to compete for a job. Very spineless if you ask me.
