Steelers coaching staff has long used Ben as kind of a "crutch" and just like last year they won't have the wisdom to protect him from himself.

My guess is that Ben won't start against the Chargers. Reason being that winning last
week gives the Steelers a no-panic situation now. They will be facing the Bungles a few
weeks later and even if they lose the Charger game they will be able to reclaim the
6th seed with a win against the Bungles. I think Ben starts against Dallas.
