Wow. It must be nearing football time. Mill is ranting about Woodley again. Yes. Lamarr Woodley is overrated. No, that's not his fault, it's the media who rates him, not he. Lastly, the article actually points out:

"Butler believes that Woodley could be one of the best who ever played the game — if he wants to." That appears to imply, to me, at least, that Woodley has some good qualities and, like the rest of us on the planet, could probably apply himself more.

...while Mill, on the other hand, says Woodley has "been a slow, immobile, over-rated fat-ass ever since" 2009.

tomato, tomato...

Of all the stuff that could have been talked about this offseason the first discussion and article in a months is shitting on Woodley? I used to love this site, but its decline is due to this way of thinking, stupid polls on the cover page that offer no real merit or room for opinions, and overall negativity of many in charge of the site. The honest anaylsis is welcome, but quit shitting on the team just to say I told you so.

MM125,
Contrary points of view are welcome. Please feel free to provide the counter balance to the things you complain about.
I suggest it be well thought out, well written and well researched though.

I mean seriously, what kind of poll question is this? And its been there forever. Why not a real poll asking who the Steelers should have taken in the draft, or if you are estacic about the draft results or disappointed, or what you think the Steelers should do about Wallace. Not a one sided, agree with this poll or call yourself an ignoramus. Its this kind of attitude I'm talking about. Like I said, honesty, even blunt honesty this guy sucks and why, is welcome. But the damn negative attitude is sickening.

A week after shredding Dick's vaunted defense, Timmy Tebow goes 9-26, 136 yds, and 0 TDs vs. a pitiful NE defense. Finally convinced Dick needs to retire?

Yes, absolutely. Time for "316 LeBeau" to pack it up.

No, I am not very bright & I am an ignoramus.

Then go form your own website. Last I checked this is Mills. Seriously, I get tired of these same f**king complaints over and over when it's been explained ad nauseum.

He came into camp close to 265 whatever that means. But the 290 lbs refers to last year. This is a kind of weird delayed artcile that seems to be saying that he was a lard ass last year but heeded Butlers call out for this year. Although he is now nursing a sore groin. So Still Mill is halfway on message

"Then go form your own website."

Lighten up there, Zeke, this place outta be fun. You sound like one of those liberals who've taken it up the ass for so long that they wanta censor anyone with a different opinion than theirs. Typically they get all bent outta shape over what someone else has to say, and they demand that they just stop saying it.

Seems to me one could just post his or her own thread on this site. Having an opinion that differs from Mill's doesn't even require the tech savvy needed to launch a website. Just hit "new topic" instead of "post reply." Besides, while I think people's criticism is at times over the top, there is no more accurate, more well researched, more on-point, more in depth analysis available for Steelers' fans. If I didn't think so, I would go elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't waste my time posting complaints here.

Unfortunately for Woodley, his complacency is coupled with the decline and demise of one of the greatest 3-4 DL ever, Aaron Smith. It's a perfect storm. Woodley's game impact had diminished proportionally to Aaron Smith's health decline over the past 3 years. He will have to challenge himself to return to form this season or be mentioned in the same context and breath as the Gilded Dong. He's the big dollar/high profile player so it's time to train and perform like one. 290 lbs? Really?

AMEN!I also agree with your take on these incredibly stupid poll questions/answers. So many things to discuss, and the Mill finally awakens to remind us he doesn't like Woodley! Oh yeah, and to point out someone else doesn't like him either. We get the freaking point!
@Steelers76:1. The complaints are legitimate, and there are some of us who won't shut up about it. 2. The Mill has discussed his disliking for Woodley ad nauseum, so we're even.

Adding to the trifecta of the perfect storm is Dick Lebeau's outright refusal to call more blitzes. Our defense is built on QB pressure. If you sit and wonder why we don't force turnovers anymore, it's because we are constantly dropping 7 or 8 guys in coverage. The media still (delusionally) refers to us as a blitzing team, but we haven't been a blitzing team for at least 3 seasons.

Do have to admit that it is time for a new poll,Mill. How about:

Dick LeBeau's vaunted defense will suck ass against Peyton Manning in the Opener who will shred it 1000 times worse than Timmy Tebow

I am a dumbass who thinks that LeBeau's defense schemes are genius.

I've got another one for you:
A) I am a mind-numbed robot on Still Mill's jock.
or
B) I think for myself, and do not simply accept and regurgitate everything that Still Mill says.
Now that's a good poll question!

I'll still always come here for the analysis. Best, bar none. But the site could be better and thrive again with just a little attitude adjustment from Mill. But his site, he does what he wants. Just making suggestions. Trying to help.

Speaking of at least, if not correct, reasonable opposite points of view, wasn't "the overweight fat-ass" on pace for an 18 sack season before the hammy woes? 1.5 sacks the first four, but 9 after the first 8? He was really heating up and it's not like Harrison was drawing the heat away from him. Just sayin'... :?

My first thought was: yeah, good point! But then I remembered that the Mill has covered this already (ad nauseum). You see, those were "dong sacks",and as anyone who frequents this site knows, those don't count.

1.) Says you 2.) Again, this is Mill's site. If you think you can do a better job, then I suggest you go form your own site. Seriously, and I don't intend for this to be mean, I have been hearing this stuff over and over and over for nearly 3 years. If you don't want to form your own site, then offer to contribute something in the way of writing articles. Otherwise, you and all the other people complaining are doing just that; Complaining.
