I Hate to Sound Like a Homer, But..............

Postby StillDodger » Sun Feb 05, 2012 10:10 pm

If it were not for the putrid cornerback in Ike Taylor, this would have been our seventh Super Bowl Title.............. I watch both teams, and I don't think either is better than the Stillers.

And I'm sorry, but I would not take either SB quarterback over a healthy Ben......... No way, no how...............
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

I agree with you about taking Ben over Brady and Eli. However, I'm not sure I'd say we def. would've won SB No.7 against The Giants this season, especially since The D couldn't stop Tim Fucking Tebow and his band of shitty WRs. Imagine what Eli, Nicks, Cruz, etc. could've done to them.

You can't just blame it on Taylor--you would have to say that the Steelers would have won Super Bowl 7 if not for LeBeau's shittty game plans. Did New England have better talent on defense to hold Tebow to one touchdown? Hell while at it-- it isn't like the offense put away Denver like New England did. Not much way this team goes to Super Bowl 7 or wins it.

Will Gay cost us the bye when he gave up a big TD in the second loss to the Ravens. If we could have somehow gotten the bye to let our players heal we could of had a shot. He also gave up another in the Denver game. I'm glad to see him go to be quite honest.

Just what the fuck is wrong with being a homer? Is that some made up liberal term that's supposed to be degrading, such as homophobe? If you're a Steeler fan and promoter you oughta be proud of it.

Actually that's a term that's been thrown around by ppl who have indicated being diehard conservative when you don't blindly agree with them. For example: I don't think #7 should be scrapped for some nobody and i consider him an elite quarterback because of his track record. Also we would not have trophies five and six without him. That evidently makes me a homer.

Guess what? They would have still needed to win 2 more games just to get to the SB, let alone win it.

Ike Taylor? That guy who got a big pick vs. denver in the '05 playoffs then again in super bowl xl deep in pit territory?

Or was it the guy who snagged a huge int vs. the jagsin the 07 'offs?

OH WAIT, maybe the guy who reduced white hot fitzy in the other sb to the backfield before he could make a play?

Hmmm maybe you mean the guy who got the splash play against the jets in 2010 for the huge strip sack?

You know william gay is the other corner right?
