I won't waste my time reading whatever link you provided, but your explanation is sheer gibberish and hogwash.

On the first play of OT, Tebow had no pressure in his face, and then calmly hit a WIDE OPEN Thomas on a short post, With NOBODY back at safety, Thomas ran 80 yards for the game-winning TD.

When the ball was snapped, there were 11 (ELEVEN) defenders within 4 yards of the LOS. Why ? It’s not like McGahee was tearing it up. He’d gained 61 yards on 19 rushes, about half of what Redman had gained with 2 less carries. LeBeau was a complete fuking ignoramus for sticking EVERY defender up at the LOS on a 1st down play from the opposing 20 yard line. And a blitz ?? Gee, that's some BLITZ --- as there was no defender who could have touched TeBlow with a 12-foot pole. All in alll, a stupidfuk scheme by a complete stupidfuk.

And it should have never gotten into OT, had Dick LeBeau not managed to do what no coach on the planet had done -- make Timmy Teblow look like a competent QB. Fuk DickHead LeBeau.

I saw the replay. Ike didn't whiff the receiver, he didn't even attempt to jam the receiver. The end result was the same.

If Lebeau made a monumental mistake, it was grossly overestimating his corners.... That strategy may have worked with the Chiefs or Bills corners, but it was suicide with our corners.

I agree with Mill here. I think this was sheer incompetence by Steeler's defensive coaching staff.

THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO intent or design to protect the pass.

This from the yahoo box-score. Denver had 18 first downs (not sure if the OT first down is counted or not; also, PIT must have commited one or more penalties on Denver 1st down attempts, and I don't know what happened there). Here is from play-by-play:

Out of 18 1st down plays, Denver tried to run the ball all but once.

So the "brilliant" Stililer coaching team was convinced that it is going to be a running play.

Statistically, Denver is not rushing very well (131 Yards on 34 attempts, or 3.85 per).
On the other hand, Denver is passing at 15 yards per attempt.
So only a fool would fall into this trap, getting out-pokered by the opponent
at exactly the wrong time.

Of course, you don't need one play to think that Stillers def staff was totally incompetent in that game.

An average QB would have about 0 in each category, and the 16th quarterback is positive in both respects.
So T.Tebow is significantly below avg QB, and if you believe the numbers, he is NET NEGATIVE contribution to the team.

Now, look at the one-game DVOA from that game:

DEN Off: +40%, Def: -1%, SpecTms: +6%, TOT: +40%,
PIT Off: +5%,, Def: 42%, SepcTms: +6%. TOT: -30%.
Negative is better for defence. TOT = Off - DEF + SpecTms.

So PIT defence got DESTROYED by DEN offence.
