Big improvement in red zone performance. Can't fault the play calling there, much better. Getting the TD in the RZ is a big indicator of performance; teams that do it go deep into the playoffs. None better at it than Green Bay; New England also good at it. That's how they win games with D's that aren't tops. It's been a big weakness of ours in the past two years. Let's hope it continues.

Holy cow, the Steelers went 3-1 without Woodley. They went 3-1 without Ben when he was suspended. The Pens were in 1st place, or close to it, this season without Crosby.

Obviously, none of these players are important to their teams.

A big game and up 21 at the half on cruise control rest of the way, just dont run 3 and punt, great job. A good sign were looking at
the bigger picture when they finally take the QB and safety out in the 4th with the game won, instead of playing all the way till end.
Now if we could only figure out how to manage time with 3 mins left per half? Must be a rocket science type thing?

This rather easy victory was a pleasant surprise. It was especially reassuring to see the defense pressure the quarterback and to see the offense run the ball effectively. But I wouldn't book the flight to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI just yet. The Bengals fell apart after the blocked field goal, giving away the game with mistakes and turnovers. In addition, it's likely the Steelers will finish with the same record or worse than the Ravens, which means a playoff run on the road. The Monday night game in San Francisco will be very revealing as to whether the Steelers have the capacity to make a deep post-season run. Hard hats to James Harrison and Antonio Brown, with consideration to Rashard Mendenhall. Of course, the Steelers need to show up Thursday night and beat the Browns - something the team forgot to do back in 2009.

Agree with all above. As Mill mentioned we witnessed a double rarity for Steeler football with a punt return for a td and a block fg. WOW. Are the steelers peaking at the right time like in 2005? We can only hope

The Mill says,"Dick, as usual, once again got enormously lucky." I'm not sure which is worse, the horrible sentence structure (I'll call it a DONG statement), or the twisted logic contained therein. If one is consistently lucky, we typically think of them as good. If he means lucky, like four leaf clovers or rabbits feet, that's good enough for me if it happens on a regular basis. What's the problem?
