This team needs Woodley to win down the stretch. Generated absolutely no pass rush today when we rushed 5 or less.

I think it was more of a testament to how bad Worilds is as a pass rusher. He was notorious at Virginia Tech for not quite getting to the quarterback. He may generate a pressure here and there, but when the game is on the line, you have to make a play. He had a whopping 3.5 sacks when he declared. I hate him and I think I always will.

There was a lot of talk two weeks ago about Woodley's dong sacks, one in particular where he stunted up the middle and got a free sack on Brady pretty much untouched. Somebody (I think it was PGHeaven) made the point that at least he got him wrapped up and took him to the ground, unblocked, untouched or not. There was a play in the Ravens game where Worilds had the exact same stunt, came through unblocked, untouched, whiffed on Flak-O and a big play (I think one of their many third downs converted) resulted. I, for one, miss having Woodley as a bookend to Harrison. Between his hammy and Ben's thumb, the bye week could not have come at a better time.
