DRAFT TALK

Postby thesteelhammer » Thu Apr 28, 2011 9:26 pm

I'm loving all these QB's being taking early.
More O-line and CB's falling to us.

also, these QB's aren't that good and these teams paying them big money will doom their franchises.

unfortunatelt Atlanta set cleveland up with a sweet trade. 5 picks for Jones is crazy.

Atlanta is CRAZY :dunce:
The Cleveland Browns traded their No. 6 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons for their 27th overall pick, 59th overall pick (second round) and 124th overall pick (fourth round) in 2011, along with their first- and fourth-round selections in the 2012 draft

mike pouncey goes to miami with 15th pick.
Way High for any interior offensive lineman.

now maybe steelers fans can move on and stop talking about crazy trades to get this guy.

whether i would support that, would depend on price.

we need our 2nd round pick to address o-line, so I wouldn't trade it.
I'd definately do it for our 1st and 4th. I'm Ify whether i'd so it for 1st and 3rd, just because only 1 other CB has gone and there are several quality guys left on the board.

Probably true, but that is still pretty high for an interior o-lineman. especially since he doesn't snap very well. I think teams are too high on him because of his brother. He isn't his brother.

word was it was going to take our 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick to get him. no thanks at that price.

Yeah, Peyton Hillis's chances of staying healthy just took a nose dive....
but Peyton Manning's chances just got better with the colts pick of BC OT, Anthony Castonzo

another OT off the board

moving up here to get Jimmy Smith before Baltimore takes him might be a good idea if seattle doesn't want too much. maybe 1 and 4
