Re: TROY polamalu Defensive player of the year
It's easy to say Matthews because of his memorable forced fumble in the SB, but Clay really disappeared in the 2nd half of the year. He had half of his sacks in the first two games. Harrison had 3 less sacks but 40 more tackles. Ware had practically the same stats as Clay but 2 more sacks. Statistically he couldn't win it. The game winning plays sealed the deal for Troy.

You had Suggs for the Ravens, you had Peppers for the Bears, you had Matthews for the Packers all men who had good games EVERY game. TThey voted this thing to Troy before the facts were evident. Its a popularity contesest.
If you think that Troy only had 3 big plays this season, then I'd say that you might only watch highlight reels, as opposed to the actual game. I'd think that was something that a non-Steeler fan might do. Hell, even just watching the season's highlights will get you at least 1 replay with Troy in it, and they were always huge plays.
I just read your shit a little more closely. They werent always huge plays. There were misses and misreads and gimpy follow alongs. Take your non Steeler fan punk shit and hit the bricks with your 15 posts you pissant
Why does it seem that there is a core of people on here that consider to be a true fan; you have to be hating on everything the STEELERS do or hate on people who actually have positive things to say?
You had a HUGE arguement last year in making him DPOY for 09, except as mentioned earlier, you can't really be considered if you are out for 1/2 the season. While the voters are not suppose to consider anything out of the current season when they vote, BUT it is hard to ignore the huge impact he had for 2009 that could not be considered.
