the DEPTH should be provided by Larry Slow-a-foote. The STARTER should be Timmons. Anything else is pure asininity, similar to the bullshit rationalization that had Mike Jones -- a career OLB -- starting the opener in 2001 while Ken Bell sat on the bench. Jax jammed the ball down our throats that day -- just liike they did TWICE last year, in fact, while the Great Almighty Larry Foote was getting trucked and fooled continually, I might add -- and thankfully Ken Bell entered the starting lineup a couple weeks later.

I certainly appreciate your logic Mill.
I think it's safe to assume that they're going to be alternating in and out. I wouldn't be surprised if they had playing time split right up and down the middle. I say that because it seems Tomlin likes to have more player rotation during the game than I remember in years past under Cowher.
And even IF Timmons rides the pine and doesn't get the start or much playing time... There's a beast on reserve waiting to kill opposing teams in the face.
