You have to give Hines Ward consideration too. A touchdown reception on a pass that wasn't easy to catch and several key first downs. I can't remember any negative plays on his part either. Legursky should be given consideration too, but he had that whiff on a block that led to a fumble. No one on the defense deserves any credit whatsoever. There was no pressure from the line or backers, and of course who doesn't want to puke at the thought of the coverage from backers or d backs. But no one deserves the award; that is the right call.

No doubt the correct call no one should be given the coveted Hard Hat Award. I would like to suggest another award for games such as this when the team performs in such a wretched manner as it did in Super Bowl XLV called the “Punk Award” it would be graced by an all out assault and call out on individual piss poor performance. Maybe you could even award it to a coach?
