Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
Anyone seen this fuking pissfuck loser lately ?? Not that ANYONE would give a rat's ass about this fuking loser, but has anyone seen this sorry bastard lately?
A longtime reader had sent me a copy of this dick-lick's recent long rant against/about me. What a pile of shit. What a piece of shit.
All's I can point to is this ---> http://www.stillers.com/articles/2630.aspx
Unlike this fucking complete loser, I put it OUT THERE, in WRITING. And as usual I was SPOT ON. I said to not have Gay on Nelson, and it resulted in a TD. I long wrote about how over-rated LeBeau was, and he got CARVED apart like a pumpkin. I clearly stated, "TE Heath Miller must get involved in the passing game as a pass-catcher, not as a sidecar blocker." Yet he spent most of the game as a sidecar blocker and caught a whopping 2 passes for 12 fuking yards. And, of course, I PREDICTED, in WRITING, the Packer victory, based PRIMARILY on the softee Paper Tiger defense.
Perch used to be a GUEST write here. Weak has he was, he was adequate filler; nothing more. All of his gibberish was pure pablum to fill some empty space during the week.
Today he remains what he is -- a piece of shit dullard, and a fuking coward to boot. Fuck Perch. And I'll happily and gladly tell all of this to his sorry-assed face at ANY time.

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
You know, during that suckfest of a SB, I kept thinking, Mill said not to do this/this was going to happen if they do that, etc. I'm just wondering where all of Dickhead's defenders are now? You know, the mindless sheep who were telling us 2 weeks ago that you and I were insane, retarded, didn't know what we were talking about, etc. Can't wait to hear their lame-ass excuses for this abortion....

Good call, 76. You'll very quickly see that those kind of faggot-fuck cocksuckers will be NOWHERE to be found. They'll crawl into a hole and never be heard from for MONTHS, and then they'll pop back in again and blame this entire fiasco on "turnovers" or "Suisham missed a FG" or some other bullshit.
Let me know when ya want to join the staff. StillMill@stillers dot com

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
Oh, I'm betting their excuse of choice will be "turnovers" You know, because that automatically absolves Dick and The Defense from actually having to do their jobs at that point. Other than the pick 6, It wasn't like they turned the ball over in Green Bay's redzone, but I'm sure that's what they'll have us all believe...
And thanks much for the job offer once again. If I ever decide to take it, I'll be sure to let you know. After your pre-game SB Article, if not before, The Steelers should be offering YOU a job on their coaching staff....

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
Mill, you predicted exactly what would happen if the stillers did or did not certain things. My hat is off to you. The stillers were an embarrassment last night. Ben looked like he was playing in his first playoff game. Its obvious the offense and defense were over rated. What a disappointment.
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
MIll you called it but I knew you were right. The playoff wins were an indication that the Steelers were in trouble--had no doubt that an elite qb was going to carve the fuck out of the defense. There is one point you might have missed and sorry if you said it... that secondary is just dog shit if you get a top flight qb. They can beat the Jaccos and the Sanchez's barely, but not the next level. They simply cannot cover an old lady one one one. You have to be able to get one on one coverage. Ike is all they have-- how many fucking times can Gay get beat? Ryan Clark was three steps behind every receiver and McFadden four. Not that LeBeau didn't shit the bed, but with the coverage skills of this group, which as Defensive Coordinator, that is his job to coach them up, well you aren't going to win in this NFL.
Benjie pissed me off too yesterday. No need to talk about Arians as that goes without saying that the game plan was a piece of shit like usual. But Benjie was fucking horrible. Fucking horrible. He has been so for the whole playoffs. You cannot keep missing wide open receivers or over throwing them or underthrowing them like he has been doing from January on. You knew fucking well that the defensive was going to collapse and he had to rise to the occasion. The discussion of him not belonging in the elite qb category... well maybe that is correct right now. He is not an accurate enough passer consistently to be thought of with Brady, Manning or now Rogers.
Well this was a clusterfuck of a game. I believe that the off season had better be prodcutive in terms of shoring up the secondary or they aren't going back to a Super Bowl anytime soon. If Taylor leaves, holy shit they are in huge trouble. I don't know that Troy is not fading either--he doesn't look physically the same and injuries could be catching up with him.

Well I defended (kind of) LeBeau 2 weeks ago and here I am. I'm not going anywhere regardless of how many infantile insults and expletives are thrown around on this site, which could be a lot my enjoyable if people would state their case and have respect for other opinions vs. this overriding anger that seems to flow through many posters for some reason.
I also predicted a few things as well that came to pass about the game, but that doesn't mean that everyone else is wrong and it also doesn't mean that if my advice was taken vs. what the Steelers actually did that it would have worked out any better. All it means is that we'll never know.
I enjoy the debate, but I do not enjoy having other opinions jammed down my throat and there are other posters here who feel the same way. That does not mean you cannot speak with passion or state your case and why you think certain things.
I'll write more (hopefully in a column). But that being said, I can only give my impressions based on watching the game once, and not watching film, like Mill and various nfl analysts do. I will say this... like I've said before... i firmly beleive that you can spin this in many ways depending on your point of view as to claiming which are the primary factors to our loss, many of which can be sufficiently backed up. Much like political conversations that go back and forth. Many fans don't want to hear this as it means that you sometimes cannot point to just one thing and say THAT'S the problem and let's fix it. Fans want clear, black and white answers and sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't.

Dont worry about that punk Perch Mill. When you analyze with hard hitting accuracy you will offend the weak of mind and spirit. Like 76 said, many MANY times this year, while watching games I recognized MANY situations that you had tutored us on. You bring to us a level of analysis that makes the viewing experience so much more refined. Last night I kept telling my family, now watch what happens here when Nelson runs down the seam, he will easily get position on Gay and it will go for 20 +. AND SURE AS BACON COMES FROM A PIG, it would happen, OR Nelson would drop it, and my family would look at me like I had ESP
No, FUK all the detractors, MILL your dedication to analysis has proven out completely. Thanks for another good season
BUT Can we do something about this website??

You know the thing is is that this is an internet forum so there really isn't the threat of public shame because no one knows who you are. So here I am Steel 76. Mindless? Horse shit. You tell me who's better than Dick. Name the guy. Do it. Ben shat the bed and this helped contribute to the loss big time. That said, my line was and still is I don't see who LeBeau gets replaced with. But I'm finally ready to admit that I'm fucking sick of seeing games pissed away because our secondary can't cover. DICK SHAT THE FUCKING BED TOO. Wait...I'm pulling crow feathers out of my mouth...Any way, bring on Butler if AZ don't get him first. STILL, it's not like the 3 pre-final drive turnovers didn't contribute. Wipe them away and we win. But god damn, the secondary has been exposed for two straight seasons. Mill, you called it. I was wrong. As for the REST of the defense, hard to say Dick is a Dullard against the run. But when Troy isn't 100%, it's an exhibition on the secondary. When Troy is 100% healthy, it's a nail biter. I seem to recall Mill pointing out Troy is Dick's meal ticket.
You asked with your eyes Trent, you asked with your eyes.

I'll admit that I don't know as much about the sport all around as Mill and some others here. However, I'm SURE there is a talented D.C. at the pro or college level that could excel in this system and organization, especially given the talent he has to work with. Whether I can "name him" or not is irrelevant. The fact is that he does exist somewhere, but how the fuck are we supposed to get him when this organization wants to hold on to Dickie like he is some kind of mascot? And make no mistake about it, that's about all he is now; A fucking mascot.
Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
Guys, calm down. We're all upset we lost the game, but we're all Stillers fans.
The way I see it, schematic problems or not, we were still in that game with 2 minutes left.
If Ben's arm isn't hit, and that pass hits Wallace in stride, it may have been a touchdown....
If Ben doesn't overthrow Wallace later in the game, that probably would have been a touchdown....
If Mendy doesn't fumble, who knows?
If any ONE of those things had happened, we would have a pretty decent shot at sitting here celebrating with trophy number seven, and you can't blame any of those miscues on the defense. Granted, you can also say things would've been different if our defense makes a stop somewhere. But let's face it, most of us who pay attention knew the first week of January that the Packers were the one team coming out of the NFC that we didn't want to play. And we knew why.
That being said, what are we supposed to do about it? We don't have the caliber of DB's you'd want to match up against this style of offense. And to be honest with you, I don't see how we're going to get them. With guys like Asomugha and Revis making like $15M+ per year, I think most of us realize that we're never going to have that type of defensive backfield.
Maybe it's time to start giving some of the younger guys a shot?

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
the lebeau supporters didn't dissapear into the woodwork. We are just sick of arguing the simpleton approach to the arguement every fricking week. Lebeau has 11 guys to work with out there. We were not beat schemtically but physically. That was William Gay covering Jordy Nelson not Dick Lebeau. Go ahead - argue that Jordy Neslon should have been double covered - please go ahead and argue that. Nothing you can do about getting beat physically with coaching. Sorry we can't all kiss your ass on this site still mill.

Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
I would have given press coverage a shot with safety coverage over two deep style. I would have gotten Farrior off the field. But you know what-- you guys are right. With the backs the Steelers have what fuckin scheme is going to make any difference anyway? Plus Harrison was getting to Rogers and Big Lamar?/ That is one guy that Mill is right about. He was a liability on the field Sunday. He wasn't getting a rush and his coverage skills are minimal at best. LeBeau never got Worlids enough time during the year, but next year Dick, it is time to find Woodley's replacment and Farriors too.

We've already been thru the asininity of "who could possibly replace (insert coach name here)?" Who could possibly replace Tom Landry. Who could possibly replace Chuck Noll. Who could possibly replace Billy Cowher. In ALL of these cases -- and there are DOZENS more in the NFL and the NCAA -- the successor WON A CHAMPIONSHIP. In the case of Cowher and Tomlin, they were TOTAL UNKNOWNS that no one could have cited during these silly-assed, meaningless, no-brained "name me a guy who could possibly replace so and so....?"
The WEAK walk around, fearing everything and assuming that a coach is IRREPLACEABLE. We're not talking about replacing the lead engineer for the space shuttle, where there might be ONE person in the entire country brilliant enough to do the job. We're talking about the fairly simple matter of coaching a sport. Any number of coaches can step in and perform at a very high level of effectiveness. In the case of Dick The Dullard, he can, and should, be replaced.
Re: Anyone seen Steel Perch ?
I hate to keep repeating myself, but I live in New England and I have it shoved down my throat every day.
Belichick took a cast of nobodies and turned them into a decent defense. Yeah they coughed up 28 points to the jets, but they didn't lose to the Jets because of their they lost because the jets sacked Brady 5 times and harassed him most every play. The Patriots D started 3 rookies. When was the last time we started a rook? Troy Polamalu barely got to play as a rook. Hell, we let a linebacker prospect go to hold a sport for Aaron. BB would never do that. At a certain point youth and speed beats out experience.
In business, top CEO's get forced out when retirement time comes. In many companies, it's mandated at age 65. You don't want to get set in your ways. The Steelers are no doubt a successful club but sometimes they are too set in their ways.
