We're Seeing the Real Bill Belichick...............
Whenever he can't cheat, he cannot coach out of a paper bag............. The AFC getting stomped in the Pro Bowl is no surprise.
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

Two Belichick losses in one January? Priceless.

Win a division populated with two road apples and a team that's almost good, knocked out of the playoffs (at home) by a wildcard team with a second year QB, and trounced in the pro bowl. Defintiely Coach of the Year. Jesus Christ.

Isfry brings up a good point about the overall weakness of the AFC East this season. The 2010 Pats are reminiscent in some ways of the 1986 Bears. 14-2, holding reign over a division with only one other contender in it which they split the regular season with (for the Bears it was the Vikings.) While the awesome D kept that edition of the Bears among the elite, for the Pats it was their offense, but the result was the same. An embarrassing one-and-out where they just seemed a step short of taking charge for all four quarters and the result was a convincing win for the opposition. That said, I'm wondering how the Pats will move on as a franchise and if-if-they have another superbowl trip in them. I think they can win one again within the next decade given that Spygate was not anything that other teams haven't done. As far as the Pats' dynasty and where they fit in the context of NFL history, their rank among the 70's Steelers, 80's Niners, 60's Packers, 90's Cowboys, etc. Spygate certainly puts their legacy under a dark cloud. That said, I really don't think that they were doing anything ALL NFL teams haven't done to varying degrees since the invention of film, making them the NFL's 53-man Richard Nixon.
