Goddell reveals his true colors
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=dw-roethlisbergergodell013111
In case you did not know, Roger Goddell, a.k.a. "Tom Brady's Sperm Recepticle" or TBSR for short, revealed that he spoke to more than 2 dozen Steelers players and none of them came to BR7's defense in the investigation back in March/April.
The article asks a very important question... "why would the commissioner of the NFL reveal any inside details of what was supposed to be a closed-door investigation?"
Why indeed? When the Cheat-triots went through Spygate, TBSR not only kept completely silent, he destroyed all the evidence. When Donte Stallworth killed a pedestrian with his car and met with TBSR, not a word was spoken. When Michael Vick was convicted of bank-rolling an illegal dog fighting ring, he too met with TBSR and not a word was spoken.
Yet, here we stand, 10 months later, on the eve of SB XLV, and he chooses this moment to try to create dissent among the team he hates the most. As Dan Wetzel astutely points out... "why bring up something that’s negative for the Steelers, Roethlisberger or the NFL? Nothing good could come of it..." especially since the Steelers can completely ignore it for what it is....
Sour Grapes.

Then, they backtrack and try to sell us that it was 2 dozen NFL players interviewed, not Steelers. I call bullshit. What's more likely: Long time SI journalist Peter King making a mistake or did Peter receive a call from the league office to revise his story?

I think you hit the nail on the head. Great analogy. Let's face it Gooddell is a Steeeler/Ben hater who likes to get butt fucked by the Brady Bunch while he sucks JJ's dick.

Peter mentioned to Tunch and Wolfe today that the interview took place many months ago so Goodell did not know that story would even wait until the SB. I'll give Goodell the benefit of the doubt on this one. SI.com was going to run the story after the SB......so I am dissapointed with Peter King for holding it until he wanted to hit it big. Made an ass of himself having to retract however, but drew attention to SI.com so mission accomplished.
btw, Peter apologized to Tomlin, Roethl, and Rooney personally yesterday or this morning.

OK, so why would Goodell interview players of other teams regarding Ben's character? The whole thing doesn't add up to me.
