DON'T TAKE JESTS LIGHTLY...
Well, based on how the season began with BR7 missing 4 games due to suspension, whoda thunk it that we'd be in the AFCC? Well, they better not take this squad lightly and look past them into the SB, just focus on slapping the ever loving shit outta them and getting into the big game. Lets Go!!!!

How could we take them lightly? They beat us a few weeks ago at home. Further, the Jets are saying they will not be satisfied unless they make the Super Bowl. Add to that the Santonio Holmes angle plus the constant remarks made by the Jets this week, we absolutely must focus on this game.
I hope we can bring our A game this week. We won last week with less than our A game. It would be fun being back in the Super Bowl.
The key to the game will be our D against Sanchez. If Sanchez can play well, the Jets will be very tough. If we can get him to implode, then it is high times for us.
The other game (Bears-Packers) is much the same. If someone can tell me how Jay Cutler will play, I can probably tell you the outcome.

I know that no one is taking them lightly, but I know that as a player that they have to be thinking ahead about what this game means to them as a team: "Don't even worry about the S.B. until we absolutely destroy this squad and leave no doubt who the victors and the vanquished are..."
I think that since we had such a tough go of it with the way the league is trying to target our defense with the fines and all, BR&'s suspension, it is a way of flipping the bird to the rest of the world and saying that determination and will to win beats out everything else

Play 4 quarters defending every blade of grass on the field.
Shut'em up! Shut'em out!

I certainly dont want to see our guys looking past the Jets, and I dont expect them to. As a fan, whose mindset will not figure into tomorrow's game, I will say this. With Polamalu back, LT doesnt get 60+ yards on our D. If Aaron Smith plays (which is still doubtful) the run will only be more stuffed. Anyone who thinks that Sanchez has the ability to take this game over if forced to didnt see the Pats game last week, and probably has not watched the Jets all year, either. If Heath Miller had been in the Jets game on December 22nd, he catches one of the two balls that went off Matt "hands of stone" Spaeth in the endzone at the buzzer. Brad Smith wont be running any kicks back for TDs in this one, given his gimpy groin. In fact, he is doubtful to be returning kicks at all. Coming off one of the greatest playoff comebacks in recent Steeler memory, and with our squad far healthier than they were when we last met, I anticipate our boys getting out in front early, eliminating the run, putting the ball in Sanchez's hands, and its pick sixes all the way to Dallas!!!

I like the idea of having a two score lead before the 4th quarter. The Stillers would be making a mistake if they were to give Santonio an opportunity to get some revenge. If any one knows how clutch Holmes is, it's us.
