Ind/Bal/KC? Divisional Round Opponent...
Initially the buckets of drool slobbering over #18 from the media, and my emotional resentment from the Colts lack of interest in chasing history got the better of me. It wasn't the Stillers, but rather the Houston Texans who got wormed by Indianapolis' harakiri. Inevitably the fat and happy Indiana Chubscouts paid for letting all the air out of their tents, and the leader of the pack was left to take all the blame...to be perfectly fair it looked like that play was mostly the fault of Wayne for quitting on the route. Nice work outa Reggie! I may eventually name a dog after him
Indy should be commended for even making the post season tournament. Injuries have hammered their team. Peyton's go to guy Dallas Clark, defensive stand outs Bob Sanders and Melvin Bullitt, as well as young phenoms Austin Collie and Jerraud Powers lead the long list. The Jets are a better team imo, and should be able to knock out the Colts...That would set them up for the Patriots.
When the Colts are out that will leave the winner of the KC/Balt game for Pittsburgh. This is a tough call because as much as getting revenge for last seasons loss @ Arrowhead would be sweet, Ben owns the Ravens, and the Stillers dominate Flacco. I think I'm leaning towards a match up with the Ratbirds right now.

This is my AFC playoff scenario... just one man's opinion:
Wild Card - Colts beat Jets (Jets D is suspect and so is Sanchez) & Ravens beat Chiefs (Cassel isn't tough enough to survive the Ravens D)
Divisional round - Ravens beat Pats (They should have the 1st time around) & Stillers beat the Colts (Peyton wilts under pressure)
Ravens come to PGH and Ben lights them up for our trip to the SB.
Of course... this depends HIGHLY on how badly the Refs cheat in favor of Brady & Manning

I voted for Indy simply because an AFC champ rematch with the Ravens will be the best game.
You asked with your eyes Trent, you asked with your eyes.

I am in agreement with Pump's opinion on the way the playoffs need to pan out for us to make another SB run.
I hate to say it but we don't have the secondary and pass rush to beat the Pats, but the Ratbirds do. I think we want to see Baltimore in New England for the second round. For that to happen we need the Dolts to beat the Jest. KC stands not a chance vs the Ratbirds IMHO. Dolts have a good playoff record vs Brady but they can't get to New England with the #3 seed.
My pick for NFC is the Packers. Very strong D and efficient O, they almost beat the Pats without Rodgers. They should have won more games than they did.

My pick in the poll is K.C. However, the old saying, "Be careful for what you wish for...", keeps ringing through my head, as I thought of the exact thing with The Broncos in the 1997 playoffs, as well as The Patriots in The 2001 post-season. Just sayin....
