he better be. if he can't become available by the 2nd round of the playoffs I'm not sure it was a good idea not to IR him. ziggy hood has been playing well and we had to release thaddeus gibson to keep smith, better have been worth it.

I don't think we'll see Smith play in the Divisional Round. I still think it's a bit too early. I also think if he plays in any game before the big one(provided we get that far), he's risking possible further injury. I also don't like the fact we let go of a Draft pick(Gibson) to keep Smith off of IR either. I also think Ziggy Hood's doing a good job in finally getting to start games. I've always been a proponent of the young guys getting better the more they get game reps. We'll see what they say on Smith this week, but I think he'll be watching from the sidelines this Saturday.
