Steelers Playoff - 2cnd seed

Postby SteelTank » Tue Dec 21, 2010 1:46 am

Here's an article by Bouchette that is totally wrong:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10354/11 ... eelers.xml

The Steelers will win the division if they win their last two games. They don't need any help like Bouchette indicates.

First Tie-breaker - common opponents: Steelers and Ravens will have the same record
Second Tie-breaker - Division record: Steelers will have a 5-1 division record while the Ravens will be 4-2

Nuff said, the Steelers win the division and get a bye. KC isn't even in the picture if the Steelers win their last two games. It almost like Buchette didn't realize this weekends games were added to the standings. What a moron.

why does my browser take 10 seconds to access anything I click on this site? Doesn't happen on anything else I try to access on the world wide web.

Slow your roll, bro. He`s just saying the Stillers can lock up #2 by next week with help.

Yeah, that would make sense, but he didn't indicate anything else other than they need help. There's nothing in the article that indicates the Steelers control their own destiny. This is far more important for Steeler fans to know then needing help during this weeks games.

The title says it all.

We can't seem to make anything easy. If we have a 27-10 lead in the 4th qtr against a suspect "O" that needs 3 scores to tie still seems lose-able, even with our D. Yet, here we are with as many weapons as anyone else out there, and if we are the one behind at 27-10, we cannot catch up against weaker D's.

Either we win out to get 1st rd bye or if we back in at 5 or 6 seed, we'll be 1 'n done. Need the bye week for rest and for our "offensive" offensive coordinator to research 10 plays that he might get to work against Pats. Yeah,....THAT'S gonna happen.

Remember the shut down game we played against Pats 5-6 yrs ago? Think LeBeau does and might review that a little to see what worked? Yeah,... I doubt it too.

What was NOT written in the article (and this is where the help is needed) (a) Roger Goodell does not decide to write an executive order that will ban the STEELERS from the playoffs and (b) That the panthers and brownies will just roll over and not fight back. :sucope: :sufootballhelmet:
