Alot to chew on after this game. Penalties? The Refs ought to be in rehab for Repetitive Strain injuries. Seem awfully quick on us but can't seem to find the flags when opponents slam our guys on the way back to their huddle.

DO YOU THINK OUR LINE COACH CAN ASK OL TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR LATE CONTACT? MAYBE OFFER SOME PROTECTION? Maybe keep Redman in to help stop those johnny-come-lately DL's from pushing us around? Just a simple thought.
MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, SEND A TAPE TO THE LEAGUE AND GET ROONEY'S INVOLVED? This is getting to be a bit much.
Of course, Ben doesn't help the cause when he's back there autographing the damn balls before he throws 'em. Any idea how long it takes to write his last name? WTF can't he toss the rock away or HAVE OUR CRACK OC DESIGN QUICKER PATTERNS, ROLLOUTS AND SCREENS TO STOP THIS NONSENSE?

WHERE IS MT DEMANDING BETTER PROTECTION, SCHEMES, ETC. TO PROTECT OUR QB? Oh wait, I know, it is a tough game for tough guys. It is a violent game and we fight for 60 mins., yada, yada, yada. Come playoffs, Ben will be hurt again (teams are gunning for him KNOWING refs ain't calling squat) and Leftwich will have to step up with NO RECENT GAME experience going in. Gee, THERE'S a familiar ring.

I flunk this OC (surprised?). A Cincy defense playing a bunch of 2nd and 3rd teamers and WE CAN'T FIND THE ENDZONE with the arsenal we have, even with Heath out? And we expect to excel in playoffs? Are you kidding me? Arians couldn't find his ass with both his hands and a proctologist telling him where to go. Mill, you wrote it,...Redman earns his stripes SO WE SIT THE GUY DOWN. Boy, there's a carrot for ya! You win one game and you earn a seat in the cold for next game. DOES ANYONE SEE THIS ASS OC FOR THE TRUE MORON HE PORTRAYS HIMSELF AS? (Did I just insult morons everywhere?)

I was also enraged with the panicky spike at the end of the half.I think there was 34 seconds left and a timeout.Breaking news to Ben---you cannot carryover TO's to the 2nd half.A team struggling to score TD's needs every down available. And the mess continued in 2nd half when Ben called timeout not once but TWICE because the play apparently got in late.Lousy clock management.

- The spike was stupid. Use the T.O. Plenty of time for 3 shots at the EZ & a FG if that fails. Could also spike later, if something goes awry on 1st or 2nd down.

- Woodley advances to a C+! Maybe he'll even get a B if he returns 2 or 3 Ints for TDs. Once a guy is on Mill's shit list, there's no getting off.

I agree that Mill seems to pick on the same players all the time, but he gave Taunto the best LB grade.

El made a great catch, but the Wally & Ward over the top/lob catches were also great BR7 throws.

Something has got to be done about the redzone offense.

How many times did the Bungles get called for offensive holding? I think I remember 1.

To his credit, he made some good strikes, and also had a brilliant play late in the 1H when he deftly deflected a super-high snap, corralled the ball, and then had the correct presence to keep the ball and scamper ahead for 13. Of course, he spoiled this by immediately spiking the ball, which enraged me due to the waste of down with a full 46 tics and 1 timeout remaining.

This annoys the piss outta me too. It's like his favorite thing to do. I don't think I've ever seen someone clock it so much when it's unnecessary.

Mill, I know you have a basis for the players you target, but go easy on Woodley after Sunday's game. He made more plays than Harrison, right? I am curious as to Harrison's effective absence from the game - does anyone else know where he was? I too have been skeptical of this year's team, especially with the gift wins in the games against from Miami and Buffalo and Baltimore's collapse in the rematch, but the Steelers seem to be headed in the right direction approaching the playoffs. And, to be fair, only the Pats game was a beating - so there is reason to be optimistic heading into the final stretch. A #2 seed gives the Steelers a week off and delays the Patriots until the AFC championship game. The weaknesses remain obvious - secondary and offensive line - but with time off to rest and recover, #56 will be the subject of hostile commentary from Mill well into January.

Let's face the facts.....1 and done in the playoffs.

The coaching and injuries will catch up to the Steelers, as well as the competition.
