Isn't anybody worried about the Bungholes?

Postby Pommah » Sat Dec 11, 2010 10:10 am

I mean, Buffalo would have beat us if a guy had just caught an easy TD pass. The Ravens would have at least tied it if Flacco had put a little more zip on the ball on the last play (and the receiver was wide open). When does our luck run out? It's not like the Bungholes are untalented. They've been quite close when playing good teams. I for one am nervous about this game. They would love to knock us off our perch.

Yeah, because I remember many games over the years where we've managed to lose, or almost lose, to an inferior team. We seem to play to the level of the competition.

Even the last Bengal game, when I relaxed with a big lead in the 4th Q, we almost blew it.

agreed on all points!

I don't think I ever feel easy when we play the Ravens or the Bengals- especially when we're picked to win.

I'm probably worried more about this game than next week's game against The Jets for all the points previously brought up. Remember just last week that if Cinci didn't jump offsides late in the game, they would've have beat New Orleans...

The Bengals are probably a dozen plays away from being 9-3. It seems when and if Carson can get hot, the Steelers can't stop him. The key to this game and every game from here on out is how much pressure we can put on the opposing QB. The more pressure the more the percentage goes up that we win. As you noticed our offense cannot put a lot of points on the board. I hope it isn't but this game will probably be another nail biter. Thank you for your time :surockin:
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

I wouldn't say I'm worried about the Bengals.
I am a little worried about the Steelers though.
We are big time banged up and just came off an emotional win over our rivals in the biggest game of the season so far.
This could be a Classic Trap Game.
Will there be a let down by the Men of Steel?
There is some history of the bengals beating us even when they were terrible.
