Of all the Steeler teams I have known through out my life (I'm 52) this one has got to be the gutsiest, scrappiest, never-say-die group of players in generations. There have been great teams, don't get me wrong but I have NEVER seen a team with so many things against them and they just keep punching! Think about it. Adolf and his Storm Troopers are out to get us. It can no longer be denied. Our O-Line is held together with duct tape, spit and a few prayers. Our QB has a busted foot AND a broken scnozz yet he STILL plays four quarters and pulls out a win. Our front line players are dropping like flies, yet, the second stringers are hanging in there like grim death. And don't forget the coaching staff. A Mute, a Retard and an escaped Altzheimer's patient and despite these three, the team STILL manages to win!

In honor of these guys, I would suggest the following. Someone that's good with a welder and has artistic ability needs to create a statue of a steeler player made entirely of discarded Scrap iron. Make it life size and put it out front of Heinz Field. I'm saying not to melt the iron down and recast it but, rather, weld the bits and pieces together so they all show. It won't be pretty but, then, neither is this team. Yet, like the city itself , it just takes the hits and stands tall. Like a pile of old scrap iron...

Yep, these Steelers are fighting tooth and nail to the bitter end. Maybe if timing is on our side, we can get Aaron Smith back and Flozell back in time for the playoffs. Health is the biggest problem we have right now.

Seriously, this group has been a scrappy one. A lot of teams doing less with more this year. The only team I can think of with a worse injury scenario than the Stillers is Indy. Winning ugly, but winning with heart. You know Goodell's worst nightmare is for the ACCUSED (not charged, not convicted, not guilty in a court of law) whipping boy of the feminazi and liberal demographic to lead the team to a triumphant playoff march.
