AT THE MIDWAY POINT OF SEASON: STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Strengths: 1. Easier schedule remaining: 4 playoff caliber teams left (NE,Oak,NYJ.Balty) vs 6 in first half. Caro/Buff SHOULD be layup wins, & Oakland on payback list.
2. Ben should be finding his groove soon.
3. Rookie contributions (E.Sanders, Hood, Worilds should improve).
4. More contributions/catches for Heath?
5. Continued strong defense.
6. Players/coaches mindful of last yr's 0-5 swoon.
Weaknesses: 1. Offensive line injuries/inconsistencies, which could sidetrack running gm.
2. Age of defense a concern? Guys like Worilds need to see more time.
3. 3rd down conversion at hideous 35% currently. Costly in Balty gm & almost cost them Mon nite vs Bungles.
4. Jeff Reed head up his a$$- 14/20 so far. Could spell playoff doom, especially in inclement weather.
Anyone care to add to this list?

Careful Buffalo is better than their record. That could easily be a trap game. After last year I know we will be ready for Oakland.
That said, weakness. Starks-less O-line.

Defense weaknesses:
5. Ryan Clark: His inability to cover over the top is killing the passing defense. He's good for delivering a crushing blow to an unsuspecting WR and that's about it. His inability to cover and lack of speed makes us extremely vulnerable to the pass. Also, Dick must know he is a coverage liability which explains the drastic reduction in CB blitzes the last 2 seasons. It's been effective the few times I have seen it. While I like his contributions in stopping the run at times, I would prefer we find more of an Ed Reed type of cover guy. We already have Troy as the run-stopping safety.
6. Farrior: Especially when isolated 1 on 1 with a TE or RB.

Let me know when Big Ben finds his groove and all the rust is gone
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

Biggest weakness is poor coaching. Terrible OC play calling and Dick's horrible prevent nothing defense.
Biggest strenghtens a much improved running game and speacial teams (less Jeff Hooker Reed).
