Week 9: Game Thread - Steelers vs. Bengals
Sitting here watching the Coboys implode made me think I'd start this thread early so I don't forget tomorrow.
Let's hope there is nothing like playing the bungals to right the Steelers ship.

They really need to whoop these posers, and whoop them hard. However, something tells me this will be a close one throughout, with The Stillers pulling it out in the end. I'm going to say Stillers 23-20.

We better not have to pull it out in the end. We better stomp them! I just don't have a good feeling when we have to sweat out games right now. Ready to enjoy the game though. Will be doing a lot of this Lets go Steelers!!!
Re: Week 9: Game Thread - Steelers vs. Bengals
The success of this game tonight like the rest of the season will hinge on how well Big Ben plays.
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

I want some points, dammit. None of this hanging on my a thread with 1:30 to go in the game. I watch all these points being put up in the nfl and I feel like we sit through 17-14 games every week.

Agree with the points thing.
I want to see us take possession (can you say, "MOVE THE DAMN CHAINS DOWN THE FIELD) TIME TO 35 MINS.
Less time for refs to target Jamie and I want to see Timmons/Woodley turned lose with NO VELCRO crap.
I want to see Mendy take a few screens with Red out in front.
I want to see Sanders/Brown instead of El.
I want to see punts inside the 10 while on their way "out of bounds".
I want Miller with 6-8 touches as Wally will be attracting 2 defenders on his posts or flys.
I want Red to see 10 carries.
I want 4 scores by half-time, and clock gobbling in 2nd half.
I want to see what Arians unemployment check will look like if we lose this game.

One additional thing I want to see: Goodell is going to be at the game so I want to see Harrison deliver one of the most bone-crunching hits we have ever witnessed. Then, unlike his style, give Goodell a big salute in the box.

A screen, I want to see a fully functional screen play for once. Is that soo hard?

Getting nervous. I wish we could just beat a team we're better than decisively.

I want to see total domination by both the offensive and defensive lines tonight.
You asked with your eyes Trent, you asked with your eyes.

Which Steeler team will show up tonight?
