Goodell Strikes Again!!!

Postby BigE » Thu Nov 04, 2010 5:35 pm

In what has become an utter bullshit, pussified trend, James Harrison was again struck with a bullshit, pantywaist fine of $20,000. Was this hit on Brees late? Probably a little late, but Jamie did not use his head, did not drive Brees into the ground at all. Rog obviously is using Harrison as his whipping boy and his example maker. Expect the Bungals LT to be allowed to maul Harrison on every single pass play this Monday night and for no flag to be thrown by the Goodell ball sucking officials, as was the case Sunday night when Jamie repeately whipped the shit of the Saints LT and then was promptly closelined as he was coming around the end, which drew a total of 0 flags, 0!!!!!!!!!
On a side there was no fine issued to the Saints DB who launched himself at Hines and went helmet-to-helmet in the endzone, where Ward was flagged for a bullshit OPI, go figure!!!

I would be interested to hear Rooney's take on all of this. If the NFL starts to lose some of Rooney's support, maybe that will make a difference?

Goodell's a tool. We might as well call the NFL, the NFFL, for National Flag Football League next year because of non football people, making football playing decisions. It seems to me, he's just taking aim at Harrison right now. Polamalu is right when he says Goodell has too much power. Even if it's a late hit, it wasn't a helmet to helmet shot. Maybe if Harrison just touches Carson Palmer this week, he'll get fined $10,000... I also like how the NFLPA's keeping so quiet on these fines. They need to grow a set, and start backing up the players, like Harrison in this instance.

Wonder if Harrison talked to Goodell about being held on EVERY SINGLE PLAY?! That would have been a good time to bring it up. Just saying.

and for the sake of not starting another thread:
Question a reporter should ask Flozell: "Aren't you glad you're not playing for the Cowgirls anymore? What difference do you see in the two organizations?"

I think we can all agree that Flozell has been a pleasant surprise. I was very concerned when we first signed him.

The fact that the owners allow toolbag Goodell to have this much power is a great disapointment. When are they going to put a leash on their bitch????
