Hey,hey, hey!!! ... You guys owe apopogies to dung heaps and manure piles EVERYWHERE for insulting them like that!
These are truly "OFFENSIVE" insults.
Re: Bruce Arians
I'm certainly no Arians Apologist, and have my share of frustrations with his calls (especially the slow WR screens and not the typical RB screens that Indy uses), but I will try and do it here for the sake of argument. What was wrong with his game plan?
We have to consider the game planning to be the most important thing going into this game. The mindset to run it 3 times from the 1"-2 yard line is fine with me (there were some missed assignnments). We can always look back and say there should have been a sneak. We can't blame him for player mistakes on the field. His job is to put them into a position to win, and no one can argue that they didn't feel like we didn't have the chance late in the game score 10 to 13 in the 4th.
There was certainly an 'in game' adjustment at half time to account for the 8 man blitzes.
Hot routes were in place, as mentioned by several Steelers, they just missed them.
Moore was used effectively as a counter, Speath was used effectively as a counter and Heath would have been big. They had the deep routes sealed, and I remember thinking that they haven't tried to throw a ball beyond two yards for the 1st couple series (this left me frustrated). But, this should counter the type of blitzing NO was doing, there were some missed assignments.
20 rushes
28 passes
Check out this series:

Re: Bruce Arians
It seems like there is no in-between for Arians performance. It's either "called a great game" or "WTF was he thinking on 1st & goal at the 6 inch line?". Therein lies the prob w/ Arians.
You can't blame him if Heath fumbles when they're driving for a tying TD & Ben is in a groove. That friggin fumble not only killed them but also took the air out of the defense.
Hate to say it but as long as Ben is here, Arians collects a paychek.

Exactly. Arians is an inept dumbfuk of epic proportions. I completely endorse him being let go if the Steelers don't take it all the way this Season. Fire Arians.
Bruce Arians: Proudly carried the Honor of Short Bus All-Star 2007-2011. Good job, and glad you're gone Dumbfuck!!!!!
