I'm pleasantly surprised to be 3-1 going into the bye week and expect Ben to reignite this offense,...
But today's effort sucked.
Anemic Offense,
Stupid Penalties,
Soft Defense.

Re: Game Thread: Week 4 Steelers vs. Ravens
The series that lost the game was the offensive one prior to the final punt. Everybody knew the Ravens would have plenty of time either way, and playing for the first down should have been the objective.
Monday morning QB a little early..........
What is the status for Chris Hoke? I think he impacts the defense as much as Troy, if not more.

Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

THIS IS EXACTLY HOW THE CLOWNS BEAT THE BUNGLES.............. They too had a small lead and the ball, almost the exact same situation.

Hopefully, about 2 more TDs per game.

Exactly - played to lose. Multiple boneheaded inexcusable penalties. march backwards from the 4 yard line. Not one single pass. Fucking Arians

Gay Goat o' the game????
- Jeff Reed - 2 missed FGs on his Home Turf
- Dick Lebeau - softie Defense in the 4th Qtr... AGAIN
- Bruce Arians - Twice handed golden FP and never making a 1st down, let alone scoring points
- Kemo & Spaeth - for 2 False Starts inside their own 5 on final "drive"

Re: Game Thread: Week 4 Steelers vs. Ravens
We lost the game because of one reason and one reason only:
The inconsistency of Reed's foot.
Tonight was a winning effort snuffed out by a bad kicker.
A professional kicker makes 45 yard kicks.
Period.

Re: Game Thread: Week 4 Steelers vs. Ravens
It wasn't just the kicker...... The Ravens kicker mist one too........
I mean, how does the PUNTING team commit a holding penalty? In all the years I've been watching football, I don't ever recall a holding penalty on the PUNTING team........ That was a BIG penalty.
We made just enough negative plays to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
