After watching marginal qb's look like bronze gods of the gridiron against us several times last year, it's nice to see us be able to embarass another team the same way

Short yardage problems continue.
Redman = no gain on 4th and 1.

the fact we threw on that play shows that no one, including Arians, has any faith in our short yardage running game.

Anyone else really irritated that we let Mendenhall rot on the bench for years to watch Willie "scared of the line" Parker run like a coward?

I don't know - Mendy seems to be running a lot better now than in his first year. He used to run a lot more upright which left him open to more punishing hits. Also was fumbling tons. I'm not saying he shouldn't have played more, but he certainly didn't look like he does now. Remember, he was in Tomlin's dog house last year - Tomlin really called him out. Then Parker got hurt, and Mendy seemed to elevate his game.

Because the three previous plays were running plays, including one where the offensive line sprinted down the field for 40 yards.
At some point you have to allow your big men a play to recuperate. There was nothing wrong with tossing the ball on that play.

You realize Mike Tomlin got to a world championship with no backfield or o line, and now he's undefeated with chuck batch and antwaan randle el as his third stringer.

3-0 is awesome to be sure. Good to see Hines and wallace get their hands on some pigskin today. I warn everyone though. Charlie Batch still makes some grizzly mistakes. The Rats are not Tampon bay
Wonder who will start next week?
lefty? or charlie?
Another very good defensuive game today as well but what thrilled me most was Mendy and the running game!

What the hell are you talking about? Are you just trying to sound like StillMill because that's the thing to do? Mendenhall suffered a season ending injury his rookie season after about 5 or 6 games. Last year he was the full-time starter by the 4th week. I would hardly call that years. It's not even A year. It's a handful of weeks that he was on the bench.
