The defense was outstanding, and welcome back Bryant McFadde
First of all, welcome back Bryant McFadden
I stand by my belief that his stock is still where it was before he left Pittsburgh.
He's still a very promising, strong defensive corner. Although the coverage on Roddy White was atrocious, McFadden did a great deal contributing to just tackles in the open field. 12 solos.
It's nice having someone in the backfield aside from Troy who can make reliable tackles.
I mean really, aside from the coverage on Roddy White, the defense really played outstanding. They didn't give Turner any room to run, and that was a major concern.
Lawrence Timmons is really starting to pick it up. Wow did he look good this week.

Roddy just played out of his mind....BMAC was up in his grill big time on half the balls he caught. No more watching Will.I.Am. Gay getting tooled all game, although he looked great as the nickel corner today, dropped a sure INT. If this defense stays healthy the Steelers will have the ability to win against any team in the league, home or away. That's of course a big if....

Coverage was not bad... that dude is a serous receiver. I thought McFadden looked solid.

McFadden small upgrade to Billy Gay - even tho White had 13 catches, I think he only averaged around 9 yds a catch.

McF kept White in front of him all game and that is probably the plus rating for his coverage. I was wondering when they were going to give him some help and they finally did with Troy.
I thought Farrior played well - missed one tackle but was getting to the ball carrier quickly.

Good point. I guess that's one way to "contain" a solid WR-QB tandem.
I just couldn't stomach how often Matt Ryan was throwing to him, yet it seemed like Roddy was catching everything thrown in his direction. Atlanta's offense was becoming REALLY predictable since the running game had been completely shut down.
It was nice that Troy finally picked up on this outroute pattern Roddy was running every time, and jumped the route for the INT.

Roddy White really impressed me - I think it was him who made that catch w/ McFadden absolutely draped all over him. Mac had his hand between Whites chest & the ball & White STILL held onto the ball.
