T.J. Houshmandzadeh has signed a one-year, $855,000 deal with the Ravens, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

our AFC north rivals are sure putting the passing heat on us - Boldin/Housh and Ocho/T.O. is pretty formidable. I think T.O. has had a great preseason.

Makes that left corner spot even more important. Not too sure about Mcfadden and obvioulsy Gay/Lewis don't have it.

this really surprised me. i thought he was a lock for the vikings. further, he loves the bengals and i cannot believe he would try to screw with them by going to the ravens. the bengals must have said they did not want him.

strange. really strange.

I always thought the guy to be overrated. Maybe it was who he had throwing him the ball??

I had heard that T.J. was ushered out of town a few seasons back because he was the malcontent who was instigating OchoCinco into doing all the stupid distracting crap on the field. Notice that #85 was pretty quiet last year (not just in the receiving department). How much of a locker room problem do you have to be if the Bungles don't want you???

That being said, Houshmandzadeh has always been a Stiller Killer, and it looks like the Ravens want to take advantage of it.

last year was kinda crap for him

79 rec
911 yards

I would consider those stats as pretty good. He played with two or three QBs in Seattle. He is still a master at the 12 yard square in-route. Hence the 11.5 yards per catch. Almost unstoppable if a QB knows when to release the ball. top 20 in receptions - right behind Santonio and on par with past yearly perfomances

Big friggin deal. Houshmanzadeh was always overrated by having Ocho w/ him. He must have lost something if Seattle released him.

Maybe for your fantasy team but making fantasy players happy doesn't win teams world championships. I wanted TJ when we opted for Cedric Wilson instead. He could have fit in nicely as a #3 guy in our corp. I like Randle El and all but TJH is flat out better.
