The Pittsburgh Steelers have released OT Adrian Jones, LB Brandon Renkart, CB David Pittman and FB Dwayne Wright, the team announced Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have waived LB Andre Frazier from the Reserve/Injured list, the team announced Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed OT Chris Scott (foot) on the reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, the team announced Tuesday, Aug. 31.
More cuts to come by Saturday 6pm.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced they have released TE Eugene Bright, OG Dorian Brooks, OT Kyle Jolly, WR Brandon London, TE Sean McHugh, DT Scott Paxson, LS Matt Stewart, SS Justin Thornton, RB Justin Vincent and LB Renauld Williams.

The Steelers released OLB Patrick Bailey, CB Joe Burnett, S Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith, WR Tyler Grisham, DE Sunny Harris, C Justin Hartwig, WR Stefan Logan, DT Steve McLendon, FB Frank Summers, OG Kraig Urbik, and DT Doug Worthington.

OT Chris Scott will start the season on the PUP list, and QB Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season. When/if both of them come back this season, I'm assuming the two people to get released will be either Charlie Batch, Jonathan Scott, Crezdon Butler, and Anthony Madison.
I'm assuming the 8 inactive players on game day to start the season will be:
QB Byron Leftwich
RB Jonathan Dwyer
WR Emmanual Sanders or Antonio Brown
OT Tony Hills or Jonathan Scott
OLB Jason Worilds or Thaddeus Gibson
ILB Stevenson Sylvester
CB Crezdon Butler
S Ryan Mundy
