BL4 NOW GONE, ROONEYS BETTER HOPE BR7 SUSPENSION <4 GAMES...
With BL4 now probably gone for the season, they better hope to get BR7'S suspension reduced down to 3 games total if they want to make the post season. Realistically, they need to start Batch and keep Dixon as the last string backup to Batch. Dixon can't throw and he is inaccurate.

batch cannot throw either. steelers are in big trouble. we need to find a way to beat Atlanta 13-10, we will lose at Tennessee, we need to find a way to beat Tampa 9-7, and we need to pray about the Ravens game. big problems.
no defense we play is going to take the passing game seriously. with Leftwich, they always had to worry about the deep ball and some actual NFL passes being thrown. our QB situatiion will be the worst in the league for the first 4 weeks. that is why we brought Leftwich in originally.

NEW YORK -- Ben Roethlisberger's suspension has been reduced from six games to four by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
The Pittsburgh Steelers' star quarterback met with Goodell early Friday and was told he could return on Oct. 17 against Cleveland.
