Overall, I'm seeing a lot of the same old shit:

- DBs not making plays on the ball, such as McFadden WAITING for the ball to arrive, only to have the WR pluck the ball from him for a longer gainer

- Shallow KOs. Shitpulveda can't boot any further than Pisser Reed.

- Leaky O-line

- Farrior still slow as whaleshit. THE #1 concern, for me, going into this season is simply this -- Will LeBeau and Tomlin have enough sense to SIT this slowfuk on obvious passing downs?

- the coverage on STs is still spotty. Not impressed at all.

A few bright spots:

- Redman is da man. Well done. Tomlin looks like a complete jackass for cutting this guy. Now Tommy has to swallow his pride and place him on the active roster.

- Wally Wallace. Does not seem content and is playing with vigor.

- Battle may not make the team, with as deep as the roster is at WR. He's showing better quickness than I anticipated.

I think everyone will be happy to know that Tomlin has named Maurkice Pouncey the Steelers starting Center. Now they can cut Hartwig and keep Legursky on the team.

Good news, not because the Steelers will cut Hartwig (i don't see that happening. I think we'll see him at guard), but because it means Pouncey can quit trying to learn 2 positions and just focus on his assignments as center.

Pittsburgh Steelers C Justin Hartwig said he is worried about his spot on the roster because it appears C Maurkice Pouncey could win the starting center job, reports Gerry Dulac, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "Those are the things you think about when you're starting and, all of sudden, you got another guy playing in front of you. Obviously, you think about your future. That's the nature of this business," Hartwig said. He said he wants to stay with the team this season.
