NOW THAT BR7 IS PROBABLY GONE, HOW 'BOUT TEBOW FOR QB?
What chances do we have at getting Tim Tebow as a capable replacement for the continuing quest for SB #7? Thoughts, comments?

My thought is that Tim Tebow fucking sucks and Dennis Dixon is better. Seriously everytime i watched Florida last year it was Tebow just running into the oline. Someones gonna tkae a chance on him and i sure as hell hope it aint the burgh.

I'm with Browns, if there is enough evidence to press criminal charges against BR7 I want him off the team regardless of the verdict- as much as it pains me to say it. I wouldn't touch Tebow, trade up to get Bradford/Claussen or maybe take a shot at Mccoy/Snead in the later rounds.

They're both projects. Dixon can barely clear the line with his throws and we know all about Tebow. I think if Ben goes down, we'll need a real pro QB quick and neither on of these guys would do it.

You gotta figure that the longer this case is drawn out, the better chance Roth will be handed a 3-4 gm suspension by Goodell.
That being said, I would imagine the Stillers will pluck a vet of the NFL heap & have Dixon waiting in wings.
Hopefully, the Stillers have a couple cupcakes in the first 3 wks of the season.
If our worst fears are realized & Ben gets the pokey for a yr or 2, I wouldn't mind them looking a this kid Lefevour from C.Mich or considering Tebow, who I think will be a capable NFL backup at some pt.

Lefevour is a pretty big kid at 6'3" and 226 lbs. They say he's got a big time arm. He's also from the MAC, like BR7 was. Looking at our track record for the last few drafts, we could do a lot worse than drafting this kid. I wonder what round he'll go in?

If dennis dixon could read a defense he'd be dangerous.
He was hand-cuffed when he played last year.

Dennis Dixon couldn't read a comic book, let alone a defense.
He's a lifetime backup like Batch or Tomczak, who could win one or two gms while the big guy is out. But then is an absolute 4-INT trainwreck after that.
Lefevour should be considered.

I watched Lefevour's bowl game. He was impressive.
