Signings are GREAT! El, Clark, Allen, and Battle.

Postby JumboHeadYouks » Tue Mar 09, 2010 11:46 am

I love it! This opens up the draft to trade up for Haden.....or sit where we are and stockpile offensive linemen.... Safety was a HUGE concern and Clark is still very useful... we all know WR's are scared to go over the middle with Clark lurking...yeah he is a bit weak on the deep pass, but he is stellar vs. the run game and covers the intermediate routes adequately...but I think we will get a good CB in the draft and Will Allen provides depth.. the Steelers will not be taking a safety in round 1...as they may have selected Earl Thomas BEFORE the two safety signings.

Randle El is big because we now have a sure-handed 3rd down, posession, guy who can actually catch the ball unlike Limas... This also takes some stress off Ward.. defenses will have to respect the Steelers when they have Holmes, Ward, El, Wallace, and Miller going out... El also opens up the trickeration area.... just the threat of what El and Ward hooked up on in the Super Bowl gives the other team one more thing to think about.

The Steelers...right now...should be the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl with Smith and Troy coming back. The offense will be unstoppable.

Its a shame that free agency doesn't include Offensive Coordinators.

I dont like the signing of Arnaz Battle

what the hell is the point? What's the point in picking up a mediocre recieve in the back end of his career?

This was about as pointless of a signing as Credrick Wilson.

I mean, come on, we picked up Mike Wallace from the draft. We need a big man reciever.

It just sounds so awry when the Ravens pick up Anquan Boldin, while we're sitting here courting Antwaan Randle El and Arnaz Battle

It's a shame we won't be drafting a stud like Earl Thomas.

If anything I hope we trade up with Jacksonville and snab McClain.

I'd take Witherspoon, or McClain. If McClain is sitting there at 15, then I think we'll trade up. We've moved up to get the player we like in the past. I can see them doing it if the right Player's there... I'm also hoping we go CB in Rd 2. This Draft should be heavy on Defense, as we have some key players getting old...
Bruce Arians: Proudly carried the Honor of Short Bus All-Star 2007-2011. Good job, and glad you're gone Dumbfuck!!!!!

We finished last year with Tyler Grisham and Joey Galloway on roster. I feel better with Battle than either of them.

more like..

- ravens get boldin who has a shitty attitude and a potential locker room poison like TO. He put up decent numbers only because other teams were so focused on stopping fitzgerald. Meanwhile, the steelers drafted mike wallace last year who will most likely be a star in the NFL. Victory Steelers!
- ravens had an easy time re-signing mason because he's washed up and unlikely nobody wants him anyway. battle, i guess having someone who aint that great is the same thing as a washed-up dicklicker like gason Draw
- ravens made the playoffs but once again failed to win the championship. The last time the steelers made the playoffs, they brought home the lombardi trophy. Victory Steelers!
- Big Ben isn't going to jail. Big Ben is also 10x the QB that joe flaccid will ever be. Victory Steelers!

Funny but wrong !!
Battle is not even in the same class as mason. Plus as bad as your dbs are !! Please !
If you want to try and make the Boldin signing a bad thing for the Ravens then you are fooling yourself.
If you keep running your mouth I am going to put you in the hole with Rapelisberger !!
VICTORY RAVENS !! Who did you guys play in the playoffs last year ?? Oh my fault you didn't make it !!

Fuck you and your RATBIRD team. They are going no where Boldin is washed up just like Mason. Even if Ben is in jail I like Dennis Dixon better than "Fold Under Pressure Flacco".
